HISTORY

 

RG Engagement Group was formally created in 2010 when Inflexion Private Equity acquired a majority stake in the UK's largest employee benefits technology provider Asperity Employee Benefits, now known as Reward Gateway.

 

The group has since developed, acquiring majority and minority stakes in a number of brands and related technology businesses around the world. In July 2015, Great Hill Partners LLP. acquired the business in a deal worth £140m. 

 

As well as powering the employee engagement infrastructure of many of the world's leading employers, RG Engagement Group businesses connect thousands of retailers, merchants and service providers to millions of consumers through thousands of branded, tailored, employee portals all around the world.

 

Through highly scalable technology, the brands handle between them well over $1million of retail commerce every single day.

INVESTMENT TEAM

 

Chris Busby

Chris is a Partner at Great Hill Partners LLP. and is responsible for originating and executing investment opportunities in the software and technology-enabled services sectors. 

 

He originally joined Great Hill Partners in 2000 and returned to the firm after graduating from business school. He sits on the the Board at Reward Gateway as well as some of his other porfolio businesses.

 

When Chris isn’t spending time with his family, his biggest hobby is sports, he’s a huge New York Jets fan.

Glenn Elliott

Glenn has a BSc in Computer Science and started his software development career at Schlumberger before moving on to BT plc. A serial entrepreneur, Glenn was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010.

 

He is passionate about employee engagement and is a regular speaker on the conference circuit on issue and techniques of engaging particularly young workforces. Glenn is happiest working with creative people in marketing and engineering.
